Your Leaf might be locked for a few reasons.
- You’ve paired your Leaf to a different account
- You’ve made a typo while initially creating your account
- You were given the Leaf as a gift or you’ve purchased it used
You’ve paired your Leaf with a different email address than the one you’re trying to use now. Could it be that you used a different email address to initially create your account? If so, please log back into the app using that email and you should be good from there!
You’ve made a typo when initially creating an account for your Leaf app. If you don’t remember receiving a confirmation email when you logged into the Leaf app for the first time, this might be possible. In this case, simply contact us directly through the “Contact us” link in the app once you get the “Locked Leaf” message and we’ll have this sorted out in no time.
In this case, we’d suggest that you contact the previous owner and ask them to unpair the Leaf by logging back into the Leaf app with their account and go into the app’s Settings > Leaf > Status > Unpair Leaf and once they’ve done that, you should be able to use your Leaf without a problem.
If you can’t contact the previous owner, contact us directly through the “Contact us” link in the app once you get the “Locked Leaf” message and provide us with proof of purchase and we’ll have this sorted out in no time.
